An Orphan’s Bewail

An Orphan’s Bewail

I dwell in crowd though so Lone
tongue-tied my emotions, resembling a Clone.
No one to love, no one to Care
For I’m an Earth’s burden, a curse to Bear.
I tame no hunger of rice & Bread
starved of motherly love & her arm’s Ledge.
Tell me what’s that Father’s Wishes?
A mother’s Lap & her lovely kisses?
Detained in a cage, filched of all vivacity
leading a daunted life full of scarcity.
No one to cuddle, none to watch my gloomy dale
Is there anyone to listen-
Is there anyone to listen-‘An Orphan’s Bewail’
